But there’s some hidden gems, which didn’t even get enough attention by the fans. These are some animes that one should try at least once. Such animes are noticed by very few people.

This anime has a vivid experience. The concept of the story is slightly different. This story is not much thrilling but a slower one yet enjoyable. There are multiple main characters in this anime. Each character is different from one another but they got one thing in common. They came to know each other due to some random circumstances. 2. Eighty-Six

It's 2023, still Eighty-Six is one of the most underrated anime series. It’s hard to believe that in spite of being in the top 50 in MAL this anime is noticed by only a very few people. The story covers a world where human race is prior to the human lives. A young boy named Shinei Nouzen was thrown to battlefield against a mechanical army called legion, due to racial factors by the albas who were former nobles. All races except of the Albas are treated like pigs. They were thrown to the battlefield with minimum accessories. The story centres around two characters named Shinei Nouzen who is one of these soldiers in the 86th sector and Vladilena Milize who is the major of Shin’s unit and also an Alba. The relationship between them grew closer as the story continues. The story consists of several emotional moments as well as harsh moments of war, even so there are few wholesome moments between the two-lead male and female character, you’re gonna love it. Eighty six has the overall rating of 8.3 in MAL and 8.2 in imdb.

3. Kono Oto Tomare

If you are a fan of music or not Kono Oto Tomare is the one stop solution for you. This anime is overall one of the most underrated anime. The story focuses on traditional Japanese music and instrument, called koto. Seven high school students join together in a koto club to save this club from disbanding. They were challenged by the school’s authority. Eventually they come to love the koto club. They aim to go for the national. The story tells us the journey of them to the nationals. Overall, this anime has a rating of 7.9 and 8 on imdb.

4. Akatsuki no Yona

This anime situated in different timeline. It covers the ancient time. In some way it represents a mixture of Japanese, Chinese and Korean culture. The main focus of this anime centres around a young girl named Yona, who is the princess of Kouka kingdom. She is the only daughter of the king, who lives her life carelessly. After her father’s death her life becomes miserable. She saved by the former general and the chief of the wind tribe Hak, who is also the lead male character. The story tells us the hardship of Yona who had lost everything and strives for revenge. This anime has an overall rating on 8 on both MAL and imdb.

5. Oresuki

This anime is from a different genre. It’s originally a romantic comedy anime. The anime of the story is centred around a teenage boy named Amatsuyu Kisaragi who is the male lead finds hard to achieve his dream of high-school romance and harem. He gets always interrupted by some silly matters whenever he tries to get close to his female classmates. Moments like these made this anime a unique one. Being a high-school anime its almost enjoyable for everyone. One should try this anime before regrate. This anime has an overall rating of 7.3 in MAL and 7 in imdb.
